






The Chapmanville Fire Department is located in Logan County, West Virginia. We are station 3 of 12 fire departments. We serve the Town of Chapmanville and surrounding areas. We currently cover the longest stretch of Rt. 119 in Logan County. We have seven apparatus: a heavy rescue (Rescue 350), two engines (Engine 351, Engine 352), a light rescue/mini-pumper (Rescue 353), a tanker (Tanker 354), two squads (Squad 355, Squad 356), and a 102' aerial platform (T-3). We currently have 30 members. Three of which are trained as EMT -Bs, and two as a Paramedics and all of our members are trained in CPR/First Aid. We run boundary to boundary mutual with a number of departments in Logan County, we also are a county wide mutual aid due to our department having a cascade system on our heavy rescue and that we have one of two aerials in the county, we also run with one department in Lincoln County, and one in Boone County. Our members are required to be certified to West Virginia state requirements as well as the NFPA requirements. The Chapmanville Fire Dept. has an ISO rating of 5. This rating is how insurance companies determine the rate for insurance on buildings and homes.
